COMPETITION TEAMS

PERFORMANCE TEAMS

Performance Teams focus on maintaining excellent foundational techniques while developing consistent advanced competition skills. Due to our international competitions, they cover a range of levels to remain competitive in different countries. These teams are designed to progress at a rate to peak for collegiate and international gymnastics. All skill and strength prerequisites, and mobility scores, must be met before advancement, as well as minimum standards in discipline, fear management, work ethic, and teamwork.

COSMOS

Cosmos is our Spitzensport (elite track) team and includes AK10-12 and FIG CdP Juniors and Seniors (approximately the equivalent of USAG levels 8-10.) Athletes range in age from 10 to adults, and compete locally and internationally.

GALAXY

Galaxy is our Optional Team and includes the equivalent of USAG levels 6 through 8, and German LK levels 1 and 2. Athletes range in age from 9 to 15, and compete locally and internationally.

DEVELOPMENTAL TEAMS

Developmental Teams focus on strength and flexibility, precision in technique, and meticulous foundations, while learning competition skills. This serves as the first building block for long-term success in competitive gymnastics. All skill and strength prerequisites must be met before advancement, as well as minimum standards in discipline, fear management, work ethic, and teamwork.

SUPERNOVA

Supernova includes the equivalent of USAG levels 4 and 5, and German LK level 3. Athletes range in age from 7 to 12, and compete locally and internationally.

STARLETS

Starlets includes the equivalent of USAG level 3, and German LK level 3. Athletes range in age from 7 to 10, and compete locally and internationally.

STARBURST

Starbursts are our early team gymnasts, girls ages 5-8, attending beginning team events and two competitions per year. This detail-oriented, intensive program is derived from TOPs and AK program standards for very young athletes.

RECREATIONAL TEAMS

Recreational Teams are designed to be similar to the American Xcel or British Aspire Programs. Focus is on maintaining current skills and building routines while allowing time for school activities and other sports. These teams range in level depending on the athlete's prior experience.

ASTEROIDS & MINIS

Asteroids are similar to a high-school-style team. Athletes are age 12 and older and compete in our annual invitational, as well as two travel meets per season. This team is great for athletes who are event specialists, or like a bit more individualization in their training plans.

Mini-Asteroids are a pre-team, ages 9 to 11. They have a yearly showcase and compete in our annual invitational.
