Super fun little meet for the first round of LK2 PfalzLiga today! 🥳 We have to ignore some requirements to keep our routines consistent across different leagues, but it’s always a blast to watch these athletes navigate adaptations and challenges with grace and laughter. 🙃 Vault today ran from the lobby through a doorway and hurdled from a piece of wood, and maybe we ate the mat a few times. 🤪 But we rocked floor, and each of these girls had great “firsts” with new elements and especially new experiences (several competing for the first time in Germany!) We have a comeback story, a YOLO moment, a “Destiny stick”, and more… funny moments that we’ll remember forever, and some days, #thatsthewholepoint. 😍 #welcomeback Thanks to @tsg_hassloch_turnen for hosting and accommodating our English speakers (we loved the welcome translation! 😍)
Always love to spend the day with our @krkarlsruhe family! 🧡 After a year of no competitions, our @maxagrax supported them in the 1st Bundesliga again… despite some nerves, she showed a new element on bars, and of course contributed her usual beautiful vault. 🖤 We’re so proud of her perseverance through the roller coaster of the last last 18 months, and can’t wait to see what else is in store for her and this team this season! 🧡🖤
Our sport is our language… so even when we don’t speak the same, it works. 🤩 Round 1 of the LK3 PfalzLiga is done, with half English and half German, a little patience and a lot of cheering, these athletes supporting each other just makes our hearts so happy. 😍 We had so many firsts tonight, especially the first time back to in-person competition since March 2020. #18months #internationalteam
